Sherry works with the Verizon Innovative Learning schools which is a partnership between Verizon and Digital Promise. She has Trained over ten thousand educators and school leaders across the nation on emerging technologies and innovation in the classroom with Verizon Innovative Learning. Prior to her current role she worked as an educator in the Chicago public school system for 8 years.
Verizon Innovative Learning Schools receive extensive teacher training, support, and the opportunity to engage in a unique, immersive curriculum to leverage technology in their classrooms. Since 2012 Verizon Innovative learning schools and Digital Promise have impacted over 480,000 students, 28,000 teachers, and 561 schools.
